What is the All Wales Public Sector Finance Apprenticeship programme?
Get a financial qualification and learn about public sector finance through the apprenticeship programme.
The three-year fixed term programme offers professional training with the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) from level 2 through to level 4, supplemented with further professional training.
You’ll have the unique opportunity of spending time with other partner bodies, experiencing the full range of finance functions.
Who is part of the programme?
This exciting new apprenticeship programme is being delivered in partnership with members of the Finance Skills Development Group (FSDG). The FSDG includes organisations such as:
• Audit Wales
• NHS Wales
• Welsh Government and sponsored bodies
• Local government
• Gwent Police

Why North Wales Fire and Rescue Service?
At North Wales Fire and Rescue Service, we all play our own role to help protect our communities. As a finance apprentice you’ll be part of the finance team, using your number skills to help support staff working across North Wales to prevent, protect and respond.
