Flooding incidents in North Wales


North Wales Fire and Rescue Service has been attending flooding incidents across the region this morning - mainly involving surface water with no homes or buildings seriously affected.

Flintshire is the most affected area, although flood alerts issued by Environment Agency Wales also exist in other areas.

InChester Rd, Pentre, Deeside crews from Deeside were called at 12.18hrs to help keep floodwater at bay from a row of terraced houses, with properties in nearbyWillow Rdalso reportedly affected.

At 12.08hrs in Cae Bracty, Mold, appliances from Mold and Wrexham attended to flooding outside a property.

In Llanfynydd at 0942hrs crews were called to a car stuck in floodwater and the driver was helped to safety.

Since 09.30hrs this morning, 28 flooding related calls have been received by fire and rescue service control room operators and officers or crews have attended 19 incidents involving properties affected by flooding, primarily in the Flintshire area.
