A man has sadly died following a fire at a domestic property on Lon y Bryn, Caernarfon, on Saturday 16 August.

Crews from Caernarfon, Bangor, Llanberis and Holyhead were mobilised to the incident at approximately 3.45pm. Despite the best efforts of those who attended, the man was tragically found deceased inside the building.

A joint investigation between North Wales Fire and Rescue Service and North Wales Police is now under way to establish the cause of the fire.

Formal identification has not yet taken place, but the man’s next of kin have been informed.
